Dialogue  "Remembering The Holocaust"  Host Marcia Franklin talks with Marion Blumenthal Lazan, who works to educate people about Nazi Germany's Holocaust and her experiences as a survivor. She is the co-author of a young adult book about her experiences called Four Perfect Pebbles and the subject of the documentary Marion's Triumph: Surviving History's Nightmare. Lazan was imprisoned for more than six years in four camps, including the Bergen-Belsen camp, where Anne Frank died.G

Marion's Triumph: Surviving History's Nightmare   In 1938 the Blumenthal family attempted to escape Nazi Germany but became trapped in Holland when their passenger ship was bombed. Holocaust survivor Marion Blumenthal Lazan now talks of her six years in various refugee, transit and prison camps. She travels to schools, organizations, synagogues and churches worldwide to share her message of love, respect and tolerance. The documentary is based on Lazan's book Four Perfect Pebbles.G

Quilting Arts  "Daily Quilt Routine"  Our motto is make time for contemporary quilting every day. First is artist Marlene Glickman. She shows how to create a daily record in fabric, by making a small collage made from scrappy bits and pieces mounted on fusible fleece and free motion quilted. D

Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "Trademark of Spring, Part 4"  In this session Jerry shows how to begin the highlighting process on the large Oak tree and use of the #6 bristle brush to begin blocking in the red flowers and Blue Bonnets as well as painting in the small rocks along the edges of the road. Jerry paints in the cast shadow from the tree. Special emphasis on proper brush angle to create close-up Blue Bonnets as well as rough sketch of the fence and house in background. D
